The Weekly Green List #1 – Cloth Diapers

The Weekly Green List @TheEcoChic #clothdiapers

What is the Weekly Green List?  This is a new feature on that will appear each week with some of my favorite new (or new to me) finds.  These products and companies all have to be eco-friendly or help you live a more natural lifestyle.  To start out the Weekly Green List, we're talking about cloth diapers. Moraki Cloth Diapers - one of the newest and hottest brands of cloth diapers.  Moraki is a small family business located in California and all diapers are made in the US.  Fun and funky prints available in an AIO or AI2 diaper with their signature fold to fit hemp/cotton inserts.  My favorite prints include the Hippie tie dye diaper and the Fluffies, fun ruffle butt diapers!  Give Moraki Cloth a quick "Like" on Facebook to see what other fun diapers they come up with. Get a Kick Out of BabyKicks NEW Bumboo Pocket Diaper

BabyKicks Bumboo

Giveaway alert! One lucky reader will win a BabyKicks Bumboo Pocket Diaper and a Premium Duz-it-All. Details following post.  Closed! Eco-ngratulations to DebbieLG @MSU_MOM_TO_2 you are the winner! Despite how lame I know this is going to sound...I got a total KICK out of BabyKicks newest diaper, the Bumboo pocket. I mean seriously, look how adorable it is when it arrives in the mail. BabyKicks is a small family owned business that hand makes about 90% of their products in Maryland. In addition to their new Bumboo pocket diaper they also sell fitted diapers, pre-folds, nursing pads, burp pads, and blankets. The Bumboo is a one-sized diaper that fits babies from 7lbs to 30lbs (comparable to most one-sized diapers). As you can tell from the picture above it has snaps but they are side snapping. Side snapping simply means you don't snap the diaper by pulling the side tabs ... [ Read More ]

It’s a bag, it’s a lunchbox, it’s an ECOLunchbag!

Giveaway Alert!  ECOLunchboxes is giving away one free ECOLunchbag with set of 3 cloth napkins to a lucky reader.  ECO-ngratulations to Nancy! I think I might have a lunchbox/bag addiction problem this year!  I found yet another awesome waste-free lunch system by ECOLunchboxes.  While I thought I was getting this one for my son, when it arrived I feel in love with it and I'm keeping it for myself.  The ECOLunchbag is made of 100% cotton from fabric that has been hand block printed by artisans in India.  I prefer my products be made in the US but ECOLunchboxes takes pride in their fabric and ensures that they are made in India in a NON-sweatshop environment.  The owner, Sandra, is very proud of her product and I now know why.  It's beautiful!  The print on the fabrics are very artfully done and the colors are so vivid.  This is a bag that I could see myself carrying around for more than just a lunch bag. I already mentioned that it was made of 100% cotton.  There is no plastic ... [ Read More ]
