Take the Mighty Nest Challenge for Earth Day!

Putting toxic chemicals under your arms stinks!  That’s why MightyNext, an internet retailer of extraordinarily high quality and safe products for your home and family, asked me to put non-toxic Pit Paste to the test.  Find out why you should use a natural deodorant, then take the pledge below.  Your pits will thank you, and you could win a Happy Pit Pack from MightyNest!

Yesterday in my, Got Stinky Pits, article I explained that I haven’t used a ‘traditional’ deodorant in over a year.  I choose to use the all-natural deodorants because they are non-toxic and do not contain aluminum, parabens, phthalates, synthetic fragrances and other hidden toxins.  I challenge you to switch your deodorants for just one week to see what you think.

For the past week, I’ve been personally using the Primal Pit paste deodorant that MightyNest sent me to review.  I have the 2 oz stick in Thyme & Lemongrass scent along with some other samples in unscented, lavender, and orange creamsicle (a favorite among kids, tweens, and teens).  I’ve really put Primal Pit to the test too!  This past week I’ve been without air conditioning in my car, sat at baseball games in the Florida sun, and had my “mommy nerves” tested numerous times!!  I am happy to announce that Primal Pit worked just as good as some of the other natural deodorants that I use regularly.  In fact, I really loved the Thyme & Lemongrass scent and how it lingered throughout the day (without being overly powerful).  Not once was I embarrassed to hug a friend around the neck or afraid to raise my arms in public.

MightyNest has a special Earth Day incentive in which your could win $1,000 for your school between April 7th and April 22nd (Earth Day).  Your simple actions can have a mighty impact and take a simple pledge to earn Impact Points.  The school with the most Impact Points earned between April 7th and 28th will win $1,000.  Another $3,000 in prizing will be divided between nine additional schools.  (See site for complete rules)  Every school community will benefit when families get engaged.

In addition to the MightyNest Earth Day Challenge, schools can always earn cash through the MightyNest for Schools program.  They will donate 15% of your order to the school of your choice when you shop the MightyNest essential gear.

Now you know – there’s a natural deodorant that not only works, it’s also completely safe for your body.  So pledge to green your pits and you could win a Happy Pit Pack (samples of Primal Pit paste, reusable water bottle, razor, and shave gel) from MightyNest.  You’ll also have a change to help your school celebrate Earth Day and win up to $1,000 in the MightyNest for Schools Earth Day Challenge!
