Giveaway: Peepods Reusable Menstrual Pads

In honor of my monthly menstrual cycle I’m giving away a sample package of reusable menstrual pads from Peepods!  Peepods is a fairly new brand of pads that are not only functional but beautiful as well.

The Peepods line is not just for your menstrual cycle though.  There are incontinence pads, postpartum pads, period pads, nursing pads and panty liners.  Each one with made with soft flannel next to your skin, organic hemp fleece absorbent layers and a barrier of PUL fabric to keep wetness contained.  Each pad is sewn to a cotton wing that will snap around your panties so they won’t slip.

Why should you use cloth menstrual pads?  They are environmentally friendly, chemical and toxic-free, and super soft and comfortable.  If you want to learn more about reusable menstrual pads check out my post, A Greener Period.

Why Peepods?  In addition to being really beautiful you may also like that Peepods donates pads to the Hamlin Fistula Hospital in Ethiopia to help make a difference in the lives of women.

Enter to win a sample set of menstrual pads and panty liners from Peepods from now until August 30th.  Use the Rafflecopter form below to enter.

I switched earlier this year and love my reuseables.

  2. Jennifer Womack says:

I made the switch to cloth after my daughter was born and I turned into a crazy hippie. :)

  3. Rachelle T. says:

I actually started using the Diva Cup about three years ago but only started cloth about two years ago. I will never go back to disposable pads if I can help it! The ick factor kept me from starting for a long time, but once you get over all that, then it’s like nothing, piece of cake!

  4. Rebecca M. says:

I switched about two years ago and I love it! My periods have gotten much lighter and shorter, just easier all around!

  5. Shannon says:

I’d love to make the switch to cloth

  6. Crystal S says:

Planning to as soon as it comes back (currently breastfeeding)

  7. Katie says:

Haven’t switched yet… honestly hate pads in general and haven’t been able to get past the ick factor!

  8. I haven’t made the switch yet, really looked into it, then I got pregnant! Not sure if I’ll want to do reusable pads or a menstrual cup– or both! This would be a great chance for me to try out the pads and see if I love them! b/c I hate reading all the crap and chemicals that are put into pads/tampons!

  9. Jamilyn Clausing says:

    I don’t know why I haven’t switched yet!

  10. Emily says:

I’ve switched – so much more comfortable!

  11. The biggest thing that has kept me from switching to cloth is the laundry issue. I have a hard enough time keeping up with it as it is, so I’m not sure about adding even more to it, especially something that would need to be washed frequently or need immediate attention. I would definitely love to try it out though. Maybe the difference would be worth that little bit of extra work.
