Need a vacation? Where would you go?
As many of you are aware, I just finished a huge summer blog party here on The Eco Chic! I was busy for 2 weeks straight making other mom’s days…ie, giving them stuff for free! Now, it’s time for a vacation!
This blogger is getting ready to take a business trip and a vacation shortly afterwards. We decided this year to be spontaneous and see where the last minute deals took us.
I know a wonderful lady, Carol, at CJ’s Great Getaways Blog, that is a travel agent. She’s really new to the blog world but an experienced traveler for sure! As a child I remember her taking us all sorts of neat places; Bahama’s, Arizona, Maine, Orlando, cruising, and more! Did I mention, she’s also my mom! She’s a wonderful travel agent too.
She found a great eco-tour company, Gap Adventures, that offers some amazing trips! My favorite is the 16 person yacht around the Galapagos Islands! But that will wait a few years so that Lil’ B will remember the experience. This company also partners with Planeterra, they offer a unique type of travel, Voluntours! You take a vacation and volunteer to help others at your destination.
As a mom, these vacations are the ones that will shape your children into caring adults. I can’t wait to take our family on one soon. In the meantime, I think we’re sticking locally and playing with a Mouse!
