I’m sure this is going to be a post that everyone is doing today but I couldn’t resist. I’m watching Planet Green right now on Discovery. So far I’ve been impressed with the actual shows but I do have some comments about the commercials! If you truly want to have a green channel than I think you should limit your commercials to green products. NOT like the one I just watched for Kaboom toilet bowl cleaner! Not exactly a green cleaning product. What are your thoughts? I’m sure I’ll have more comments as the days goes on; I’m going to be wasting energy watching the channel today.

I was thinking the exact same thing when I first caught the new channel. I try to be as “green” as possible, and I thought they would choose commercials that would lead viewers in the right direction, but it seems they are just going for appearances and hoping no one will notice the wonky advertisements in between the shows.
