Green Week on NBC

I just turned on ‘My Name is Earl’ and I wasn’t expecting a green message.  I guess this week is green week on NBC.  They are talking about phosphate-free soap and carbon footprints.  Anyways, check out www.greenisuniversal.com and see what kinds of messages they are teaching.  Their blog has some interesting topics like ‘Confessions of a Serial Shopper’ and ’6 Energy Scavengers That Get You.’  You can also sign up to get a green text message on your cell phone, how cool is that.  I’m curious to see what other messages they will have tonight.

Another section of the website is ‘Good Green Fun’, they even have your ‘Green Horoscope’…I wonder what mine says.

Pisces:  Your vehicle’s a death trap to animals. Pay close attention to dogs. If you see an object enter the street, a dog may be following it. Although cats avoid cars, they confuse the lights with the car itself. Slow down in case they dart in front of you. And whenever you’re driving in the country, honk to scare wild animals away.

That’s a little disturbing!  I barely drive 5 miles a day, I hope I don’t hit any animals.

One Response to Green Week on NBC

I saw that NBC had a whole green night Thursday night. Scrubs has a environmental plot line, and 30 Rock poked fun at TV networks competing to market the green trend (hah!). It was pretty interesting to see NBC hopping on the green train, and funny.
